"No one will get in my way." Roslyn lets a tear run down her cheek. "What is she going to do?" Every sat in silence as Roslyn holds her piece of paper. Lila wasn't liking what was going on, but she wasn't to sure what to do. Peter sat there and noticed that Jarak was keeping his eyes on Roslyn, who was letting silent tears fall from her face. Roslyn was looking down at the piece of paper in her hand that was below the table line.

"I'm sure nothing is going to happen." Peter says trying to reassure Roslyn. She looks up from the paper with anger in her eyes.

"Nothing is going to happen." Roslyn said getting defensive.

"Calm down Roo." Lila said sticking her hands up trying to have her calm down.

"No, you don't just read something like this and then calm down. Are you insane?" Roslyn stood up from her chair making it more dramatic then Peter thought it needed to be. "You all are just calm because none of the season's that you are taking over threatened you."

"No one threatened you. You are just reading a piece of paper." Peter said trying to calm her down, but in the process his voice was getting louder than usually.

"Can we just all calm down." Jarak said then put his piece of paper on the table.

"Hey pretty boy, I'm calm incase you were to busy staring at Roo to notice." Lila said then stood up. "Look arguing isn't going to get us anyway. Let's just all calm down and sit back down."

"No!" Roslyn protested just as Lila sat down. "I refuse to just sit here and talk. Meanwhile any thing could happen." Roslyn walked out of the room and went up the stairs she saw when they first walked in. There was an owl sitting up there on the ledge.

"Great." Jarak said then looked at Lila, who was giving him the death stare.

"Don't start with me." She said then went to go find Roslyn. Peter sat there looking at Jarak. Peter wanted to know what was inside his note so he opened it up and read it aloud so Jarak could hear it too.

"Catching Season's Staff in one hand,
Summer Knight greets all those who flock to welcome him back.
Having left in September after passing Season's Staff to Lady Winter's Sister, Lady Fall,
Summer Knight has returned to June.
Pacing impatiently,
With drastic extremes:
From blistering hearts,
To raging storms,
He waits for she.
Anxious to leave again September coming ever so close as August reaches it's end.
With one last sigh of heat the last spike of Summer,
Summer Knight hands Season's Staff to Lady Fall with a deep bow." Peter looks at Jarak. "They better not expect me to bow." Jarak laughed and Peter smiled. Then he went back to reading. "As he turns to leave,
Summers hear becomes all the more intense,
He smiles to see Lady Winter.
This September summer Knight and Lady Winter go to see what the King has planned." He looks at the bottom of the page to see in neat penmanship and "1600 Summer Knight." Peter leaned back in his chair. Jarak just sat there holding his piece of paper.

Lila out of the room they were in and realized her animal was sitting there waiting for her, the husky Crystal. She looked down at her animal and smiled.

"Do you know where Roslyn went?" Lila asked the dog like it would understand her. It put it's head down then back up as if to nodded yes and headed up the stairs that resigned behind it. "Okay, that was weird beyond imagination." Lila worked her way up the stairs. By the time she got to the top she was acting like she was out of breath. Roslyn was standing up at the top looking out the window, letting tears run down her face. Lila stared at her friend for a moment and saw that Roslyn's hawk was sitting on her shoulder.

"Roo?" Lila said walking closer to her friend. Roslyn didn't move her attention away from the window. "You okay?" Roslyn looked over at Lila and gave her a 'you got to be kidding' look. "Okay..." Lila looked off to the side and saw a room with a door halfway open. She grabbed Roslyn's hand and forcefully walked toward the room.

"Lila! Stop." Roslyn said resenting, yet not being successful. Lila dragged her friend into the room and tried to find the light switch.

"We need some fun, you are being a downer."

"I'm aloud to be, some crazy Season lady wants to kill me."

"Yeah yeah, I've heard it before. Man broke your heart," Lila wasn't listening to Roslyn but she had no problem dragging her around the room while trying to find a light switch, "a woman is trying to kill you, you are in a strange home with two boys, and your best friend. Have fun." Lila said then flipped on the switch she finally found.

"A man hasn't broken my heart." Roslyn said then sat on the chair next to the bed. She looked around. Lila was looking into the jewelry box. She picked up a picture frame and turned it toward Roslyn.

"Roslyn, look at this." Roslyn looked over at the picture frame. "Doesn't it look like Fall Witch?" Lila said, as Roslyn stood up and took the picture frame. Lila saw a closet and went over to it.

"Seriously Lila, this is so weird, how old do you think they are? This picture looks like it has to be from 1600's at least!"

"Ah! Roo! Come look at these dresses! They are amazing!" Lila said as she opened the closet door and turned on the light. She pulled out a black dress with red accents on it. It was very olden day looking, very medieval, much like the dresses in the photo. Roslyn looked over from the picture and her jaw dropped.

"Those are beautiful!" She said as she walked past Lila and grabbed another dress from the closet. Roslyn looked over at Lila who had a big grin on her face. Roslyn knew what that meant. "No," Roslyn put up her index finger in disagreement while Lila made a pouting face, "no! I refuse. These dresses aren't ours!" Lila kept giving her friend the puppy dog face. Roslyn rolled her head around. "Fine!" Lila jumped up and down.

"Yay!" She ran over with the dress still in her hand and shut the main door. "Give me the blue one, and you wear this one, I look better in blue than you do." Lila said throwing the red dress at Roslyn.

"Be careful! That's a vintage dress! God only knows what's holding this together." Lila took off her shoe and threw it at Roslyn. "Ah! What was that for?"

"Using God's name in vain! That's not right!" Lila while getting undressed.

"I didn't." Roslyn said then started to get undress as well, she wasn't feeling right about wearing the dresses, but something was drawing her toward the dresses.

"You just said, 'God only knows what's holding this thing together'. So you did!" Lila said as she put on the dress. "Ah, it has a built in corset! Amazing!"

"He is the only one who knows what's holding it together, and I didn't say thing." Roslyn stood for a moment thinking. "I don't think I did."

Jarak and Peter sat down stairs around the table still. Peter was leaning on two legs of his chair rereading his paper while Jarak still hadn't opened his up yet. Peter looked up over at Jarak and scoffed.

"You going to read it?" Peter asked. Jarak looked up from his paper.

"Uh, yeah. Do you think they have something to drink here?" Jarak stood up and headed into the other room.

"Jarak get back in here." Peter waited a minute but didn't hear foot steps coming back toward him. "You don't live here." He waited again but nothing once again. Peter stood up and walked in the same direction as Jarak did. He found him in the next room which seemed to be the kitchen. He was making some tea. "Jarak, come on, we don't live here." Jarak turned around from the stove and saw Peter standing in the door way.

"What do you think the girls are doing?" Jarak asked putting the tea back in the cup next to the stove.

"I don't know man, girl stuff. Lila is probably calming Roslyn down." Jarak nodded along with what Peter was saying. "Why?" Jarak shook his head no, like Peter was asking a yes or no question.

"Just wondering. They have been gone for a little while." Jarak pored the water into the cup. "Don't you think this is all a little to strange. I mean seriously, we are seasons? This doesn't seem like it can happen." Jarak said then took a sip of his tea. It was old so it didn't taste so well. He didn't have a spoon to mix things around, so his middle finger to mix the tea bag with the water.

Peter looked off on the counter and saw a row of pictures. They were of old Season he guess. All pictures had two boys and two girls, only a selected few pictures had Father Time in there. Then the pictures last stopped with the Season's the met. He picked up the last photo and noticed that Lady Fall stood away from the other Seasons. Jarak took another sip from tea but this tasted great. He didn't understand, a minute ago it didn't taste good at all, but now it taste bad.

"Peter, taste this, this is really good." Jarak says as he walks over to Peter who picked up the picture.

"Here look at this, notice how..." a letter fell from the back of the picture. The look at the floor and Peter picks it up. "It says to the new Season." Jarak looks over at Peter.

"Well read it. That's us." Jarak said. Peter became to read it.

"LILA! ROSLYN! GET DOWN HERE NOW!" Peter yelled making Jarak jump and spill his tea.

"Ah come on man, I was just starting to like that." Jarak said. Peter took off toward the stairs.

"Come on ladies, this is important!" Peter walked half way up the stairs then he saw Lila walking down in a blue vintage dress.

"What?" She said, while Roslyn rushed down behind her. Jarak came walking from the kitchen then busted out laughing. "Hey, Jerk. Shut up." Lila said then looked down at Peter. Jarak stopped laughing and walked back into the kitchen.

"Jarak get back in here."

"What's going on?" Roslyn asked Peter. He smiled holding up the piece of paper.

"We own this house."
